2Day Early Pay FAQs
What is 2Day Early Pay?
With 2Day Early pay, your paycheck is available up to 2 days before your normal payday. This service is free on all checking accounts with Direct Deposit. So if you normally get paid on Friday, you’ll now see your paycheck in your account as soon as Wednesday.
Do I need to sign up for 2Day Early Pay?
No! 2Day Early Pay is a free service available with our checking accounts. If you’ve set up direct deposit, there’s nothing additional for you to do.
How do I set up direct deposit?
Go through your paycheck or government payroll provider to enroll in direct deposit with Baton Rouge Telco. You’ll need:
- Our routing number: 265473320
- Your member number
Why didn't I get my direct deposit early?
There could be a few reasons your deposit didn’t hit your account early. It could be because:
- You recently set up direct deposit
- Your deposit type isn’t eligible (like a transfer between bank accounts)
- Your employer or payroll provider didn’t provide the deposit to us earlier than the effective date
Will I get notified of my early paycheck?
You can customize a deposit alert with your expected direct deposit amount and get notified when your paycheck hits your account. On brtelco.org:
- Login to online banking
- Select Additional Services and Mobile Banking & Alerts
- Enter your email address and/or your mobile number where you’d like alerts sent
- Customize your alert
